ANALYSIS OF CHILEAN LEGISLATION ON PUBLIC POLICIES FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN CHILE

Abstract

The Ministry of Education of Chile (MINEDUC) has tried to improve education with reforms initially that help school integration, but the demands of society demand more inclusive schools, in this new scenario of development of new public policies in school inclusion in Chile it is necessary to analyze the regulations and verify if the need to create an inclusive educational system has been achieved since the return to democracy. This research is based on the analysis of 7 legal documents promulgated from 1990 to 2021 (Table 1). The laws that have reformed education in Chile are analyzed through Atlas Ti, seeking regulations that generate changes aimed at improvements for the implementation of an inclusive educational system.
