Abstract

From this rebellious body that inhabits me, this essay is born as a dissident, subjective, and situated reading of Gabriela Mistral, conceived from the political and affective tremor that was the Chilean social uprising of 2019. From an affective autoethnography, closer to the body than to the method, I let myself be guided by the resurgence of her language, that which returns from the margins of the normative archive, like a still open wound that becomes a slogan, a broken promise, and a symbol of excluded bodies.
