Contemporary Latin American literature reveals how violence against women is deeply ingrained in female experience. This article examines various literary works that expose structural and symbolic violence, addressing issues such as domestic violence, femicide, the sexualization of the female body, and impunity. Through literature, female authors not only denounce these realities but also redefine traditional narratives, offering new perspectives on identity, resistance, and female agency. Literature thus becomes a space for denunciation and empowerment, where silenced stories are brought to light, and patriarchal norms are challenged.
