This article aims to make visible the discourses, practices and spaces of the dissident experience of what is classified as “disability” in the life and work of the Chilean-German artist Lorenza Böttner. In particular, her contribution to the dismantling of colonial and ableist politicalvisual regimes will be explored, in modes of knowledge production and in artistic practice. For this, an experiential reflection is proposed from a qualitative paradigm and a hermeneutic perspective,
through a case study with documentary analysis of literature and audiovisual material as data collection and production tools.
