PANKs e PETS: Um apego quase maternal

O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar a percepção relatada por mulheres com filhos e sem filhos com sobrinhos (PANKs) sobre o vínculo com seus animais de estimação na Região Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Foram comparadas duas subamostras com as mesmas características de 204 mulheres cada, uma com filhos e outra sem filhos e com sobrinhos. Foram estudadas variáveis ​​relacionadas às atividades e percepções dos participantes. Os testes do qui-quadrado e a análise de variância sugerem que os PANKs percebem níveis mais altos de apego e vínculo com seus animais de estimação do que mulheres com filhos.
