Abstract

Most of the capitals in Latin America are overdimensioned. The greater part of the population is living in the principal cities wich grow and grow without any control, doing impossible to satisfy the necessities of the giddy increasing of the population. The advantages and disadvantages in the Metropolitan Region of the city are distributed with no equity among the different sectors of the community provoking an important unbalance. This paper exposes an analysis of the process of saturation and its incidence in the quality of life, expression of problems of metal health, negative identity of the community, violence inter quarters, etc. In these matters the Community Psychology is keeting experiences that aim to improve the quality of life, and to impulse a model of a participative urban planification.
